CSA 2010 Readiness Assessment
Are You Ready?
As of August 16, FMCSA has updated the CSA 2010 Data Preview Website providing motor carriers with an assessment in each Behavior Analysis and Safety Improvement Category (BASIC) based on the carrier's roadside inspections, crashes and investigation findings. The assessments are available ONLY to motor carriers and enforcement personnel until the program is implemented in December 2010, at which time assessments and data will be available to public access. http://csa2010.fmcsa.dot.gov/ . Click on the Data Preview tab and gain access to your fleet's new ratings.
This updated website will provide motor carriers the information on where they stand with each Behavior Analysis and Safety Improvement Category (BASIC). Have you gathered and reviewed your report? If you have not, now is the time to get the report and begin making the necessary corrections to your operations to prevent or eliminate any intervention from the DOT. If you need assistance in understanding the reports or in making the necessary changes to improve your fleet's safety performance, contact CFS for all your CSA needs. Fax in your report and CFS will return to you a plan of action for your review and implementation.
